چکیده
In our globalized economy, the consumption of goods and services induces economic benefits but also environmental pressures impacts around world. Consumption levels are especially high in current 27 member countries European Union (EU), which some wealthiest economies Here, we determine global distribution ten selected impacts, as well value added induced by EU from 1995 to 2019. We show that large shares all analysed outsourced regions outside EU, while more than 85% stay within countries. But there is uneven costs EU. Over period, largely decreased increased its borders. Eastern neighbours experienced highest per unit GDP associated with consumption. The findings this research add discussions on outsourcing highlight need for a reduction economy delivers affects environment. A study finds over period 1995–2019 were non-EU countries, stayed not evenly distributed.

Environment, Development, and Ecologically Unequal Exchange
I begin this paper with summaries of environment and development perspectives foundational to contemporary environmental sociology: ecological modernization theory and treadmill of production theory. Descriptions of the perspectives are provided as well as an overview of recent quantitative cross-national analyses that evaluate the propositions of both theories. Next, I provide a summary of eco...

متن کاملDistributed Computations Driven by Resource Consumption
Millions of computers are now connected together by the Internet. At a fast pace, applications are taking advantage of these new capabilities, and are becoming parallel and distributed, e.g. applets on the WWW or agent technology. As we live in a world with finite resources, an important challenge is to be able to control computations in such an environment. For instance, a user might like to s...

Economic, political, cultural, and environmental distinctiveness may attract highquality workers and firms as well as reflect a region’s export viability. We hypothesize that local consumption activity can be a source of such distinctiveness and thus of long-term growth and stability, and that specialization does not reflect export activity alone. Using skewness across metropolitan regions in t...
